Manchester United and Arsenal handed boost as Bayern Munich END interest in Dortmund star
MANCHESTER UNITED and Arsenal have both been given a clear run at Ilkay Gundogan, according to reports in Germany.
Ilkay Gundogan's top footballing achievements
Gundogan has failed to agree a new deal with Borussia Dortmund, raising the possibility of a summer departure.
The £20million-rated midfielder has been tipped with moves to United and Arsenal, although Express Sport claimed last week the Red Devils aren't close to signing the 24-year-old.
Gundogan admitted last weekend he has been in talks with Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
But German paper Bild claim a move to Bayern is dead in the water.
Though Gundogan is thought to have held talks with the Bundesliga giants, the report claims Pep Guardiola has no interest in signing the player.

And the midfielder failed to impress during Dortmund's cup final defeat to Wolfsburg.
Gundogan's contract with Dortmund expires next summer.
