Manchester United could face THREE former players in Champions League play-off round
MANCHESTER UNITED could face one of three former players - Radamel Falcao, Ravel Morrison or Luke Steele - in the Champions League play-off round in August.
Manchester United could face Radamel Falcao in the Champions League play-off
Falcao has just returned to Monaco after a disappointing season on loan at Old Trafford and the French club - who finished third - are one of 10 teams Louis van Gaal's side could be drawn against in the play-offs for the group stages.
Lazio, who midfielder Morrison will join this summer on a free transfer from West Ham, are also possible opponents after pipping Napoli to third place in Serie A as are Steele's current club Panathinaikos, virtually certain of runners-up spot in Greece.
The other seven clubs United could be paired with in the draw on August 7 are: Sporting Lisbon, CSKA Moscow, Fenerbahce, Sparta Prague, Club Brugge, Young Boys of Berne and Rapid Vienna.
