The Manchester United flop struggled in the Premier League this year during his loan spell from Monaco.
But Jose Mourinho hopes to turn him into a star again and is set to offer him another chance.
Radamel Falcao is on Chelsea's radar
And finally Liverpool are in talks to bring Jurgen Klopp to Anfield, according to the Sun.
Liverpool's Fenway Sports Group owners have a four-man transfer committee who decides who the club buys and sells with manager Brendan Rodgers having the final say.
The Sun report that if Klopp were to become the next Anfield manager, when it comes to transfers, it has to be his way, not the committee's.
While FSG have yet to decide on Rodgers' future at the club, company president Mike Gordon is expected to meet with the Northern Irishman in the coming days for an end-of-season review.
