West Ham consider move for Southend's star goalkeeper Daniel Bentley
WEST HAM are considering a move for Southend's highly-rated goalkeeper Daniel Bentley.
Daniel Bentley set a cub record 11 consecutive home clean sheets this season
The 21-year-old shotstopper was the hero in the Shrimpers' penalty shoot-out win over Wycombe, helping secure promotion to League One.
And the keeper's skills between the sticks have not gone unnoticed with a host of top clubs in for him.
West Ham, Leeds and newly promoted Bournemouth are all rumoured to be interested in securing his services.
So it may not be long until the Basildon-born goalkeeper is plying his trade in the Premier League.
Bentley saved two penalties in the shoot-out with Wycombe
Bentley, who's spent his entire career at Southend, set a new club record of 11 consecutive home clean sheets at the end of this campaign.
And the youngster has racked up an impressive 101 league appearances since being given his chance in the first team in the 2012/13 season.
