Sparta Prague fans have committed to raising the funds for Tomas Rosicky
The 34-year-old was a product of Sparta's youth system before rising through the ranks to captain the Czech Republic national team.
And with his contract at the Emirates set to expire at the end of next season, Prague's fans are said to be keen to orchestrate the return of their golden boy.
In a supporters' letter addressed to the club, they say: If you decide to bring Tomas Rosicky to Sparta we are ready to contribute with some finances for the transfer's realisation.
We are ready to do the maximum to inspire Sparta fans to raise the sum
"At the moment we cannot promise a particular financial amount. But we are ready to do the maximum to inspire Sparta fans to raise the sum as high as it can be.
"We will actively and fully support also some related activities of the club, for example the sale of Tomas's shirt, and special souvenirs."
Rosicky made his first appearance for Arsenal in almost two months yesterday, suggesting that the midfield man may be open to a move away.
