Twitter goes into MELTDOWN over Arsenal and Chelsea target Raheem Sterling's transfer saga
TWITTER has gone into overdrive following Raheem Sterling's agent's astonishing attack on Liverpool.
Raheem Sterling - Spotlight On
Sterling's representative Aidy Ward hit out at Reds legend Jamie Carragher calling him a 'knob' and said that his client 'wouldn't stay at the club even if he was offered a £900,000-a-week contract'.
The 20-year-old winger has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield after turning down the club's opening offer of a £90,000-a-week deal.
Fans rushed to Twitter to slam Ward, questioning the timing of his comments.
Raheem Sterling's days at Liverpool could be numbered
Express Sport provides the best of the reaction.
Well done Aidy Ward: you've probably just ensured your client sits on the bench in the under 21's team for 24 months. #knob

Aidy Ward has shown today exactly what kind of person and agent he is. How unprofessional and petty. Sterling needs a new agent. Big time.
