The Eagles tweeted: "#CPFC have marked Steven Gerrard's incredible career with @LFC in the @premierleague by presenting him with a gift prior to kick off..."
Gerrard is expecting an emotional afternoon, but surely it is highly optimitistic of Palace to think he might indulge in a pre-match drink to calm his nerves.
Gerrard insists he doesn't know if he will cry this afternoon, saying: “Carra said I can’t (cry) didn’t he? I don’t know, I really don’t know.
"I don’t want to, I want to try and control it, keep it in check and say goodbye properly to the fans."
