Neil Redfearn guided Leeds to a 15th-place finish last season
The Yorkshire outfit finished 15th in the Championship under the guidance of Redfearn in a season which saw Cellino sack both Dave Hockaday and Darko Milanic.
And now the Italian businessman has cast doubt over the future of Redfearn, who joined the coaching team at Elland Road in 2009.
"Is Neil the best coach for the club next season? I am asking myself this everyday," he said.
I need to choose the best coach for this club
Massimo Cellino
“As a man I tell you I am sorry because I like him [Redfearn]. In the club you have to take decisions.
“I don’t need to justify my decision. I need to choose the best coach for this club.
“Is Neil best for the future? Are you sure that he’s good or is it that you’re a coward with the fans because you won’t change it?”
