Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal will have a reported £150million transfer budget to play with in the summer window, and strengthening his midfield is high up to-do list.
The Dutchman is allegedly keen to bring Juventus' Paul Pogba back to United, with the France international believed to be valued at £70m.
I have faith in my ability
However, Pereira, 19, believes he can be the man to improve Van Gaal's starting XI next term and isn't bothered by the level of quality already at the club.
"I am not worried about that," the Brazil Under-20 international said on the possibility of more first-team competition.

"I like to have a challenge. I am not scared of the challenge. I know it will be hard. Some of the best players in the world are in the team.
"But I have confidence in myself and if I keep doing the things I am doing now, I think I will achieve it. I know there are world class players but I have faith in my ability."
