Chelsea's Eden Hazard lands Football Writers' Player of the Year award
EDEN HAZARD has capped off an outstanding season with Chelsea by being named the Football Writers’ Player of the Year.

The 24-year-old, who was named the PFA Player of the Year last month, added the writers' accolade to his trophy cabinet.
Chelsea tweeted out a congratulatory message from their account which read: "Congratulations to @hazardeden10 on being named the Football Writers’ Player of the Year!"

Hazard polled 53 per cent of the vote from over 300 journalists.
Tottenham hit man Harry Kane was runner-up, while Hazard's team-mate John Terry rounded off the top three.

He will receive the prize at a dinner which will be held at London's Landmark Hotel on May 21.
Hazard has been pivotal for the Blues this term, smashing home 19 goals in all competitions.
