Manchester United upset after Chelsea stars get FOUR days off before Liverpool clash
MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly annoyed that Jose Mourinho gave his Chelsea players a four-day break after their title triumph.
Chelsea v Liverpool - Premier League Preview
The Blues wrapped up their first league title in five years with a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace last Sunday.
And Mourinho took the unusual step of giving his players a four-day break to reward them for their efforts.
However, the Daily Telegraph claim United fans are angry that Mourinho gave his players an extended break, considering the Red Devils are locked in a battle with Liverpool to secure a top-four spot.
United still have a potentially tricky run-in with games against Crystal Palace tomorrow (5.30pm) before matches against Arsenal and Hull.
Qualifying for the Champions League is usually worth around £30million, so the financial stakes couldn't be much higher.
Chelsea meanwhile host Liverpool on Sunday (4pm), and today will be the first day that the squad will have to report for training.
Chelsea celebrate their title triumph last weekend
The Blues will be hoping to break the 90-point barrier with wins in their last three games.
