Internet delights in Jerome Boateng humiliation more than Lionel Messi wonder goal
JEROME BOATENG is the toast of Twitter after providing football fans with a hilarious moment to savour.
Lionel Messi left Jerome Boateng for dead when he scored Barcelona's second last night
The Bayern Munich centre-half was the subject of many fans' ire last night when he tripped over his own laces trying to tackle Barcelona's Lionel Messi.
As this video shows, the Germany international not only failed in his attempt but was punished by Messi's exquisite chip as Barca won the Champions League semi-final first leg 3-0.
It is not known if Boateng will start the reverse tie in Munich next week, although manager Pep Guardiola may think he's seen enough from the two seconds it took Messi to entangle his opponent.

Messi, Neymar, Suarez are the best forward line in history. On the other hand Boateng, Gerrard, Terry are the best slippery team in history.
