Louis van Gaal REVEALS why Manchester United gave Andreas Pereira a new deal
LOUIS VAN GAAL has revealed why Andreas Pereira was handed a new deal at Old Trafford.
Andreas Pereiran signed a new deal at Old Trafford today
The 19-year-old today put pen to paper on a contract that will see him stay at the club until at least 2018 - with an option for another year.
Pereira made his first-team debut in the League Cup defeat to MK Dons earlier this season and Van Gaal thinks he has the ingredients to become a regular in his side.
He said: "I am delighted that Andreas has signed a new contract.
"Andreas has all the attributes to become an integral part of the first team; great natural talent coupled with a good appetite to learn.
"I am pleased with his progression so far this season and look forward to working with him to develop his talent even further.”
