The Gunners - who haven't won the league since the 2003-04 campaign - currently sit second in the standings, seven points behind leaders Chelsea.
Arsene Wenger's men got off to a bad start due a number of injuries, but could make up for it next Sunday when they host the Blues at the Emirates.
We are a genuine title contender
A late title bid is possibly too much of an ask at this stage considering Chelsea have a game in hand, but Ozil, 26, has every faith they'll have a better chance next season.
"We have the quality of players,” the German World Cup winner said on next season's title hopes.

“We had a lot of injury problems at the start of the season, but now that just about everyone has recovered, you can see our quality. Just look at the performance we displayed against Liverpool [in April’s 4-1 win].
"When we have a fit squad, we are capable of beating anyone and are a genuine title contender. We have just been a bit unlucky in terms of injuries."
