Chelsea line up SHOCK move for former Arsenal star as Nemanja Matic back-up
JOSE MOURINHO is weighing up a move for Barcelona's Alex Song at the end of the season, according to reports.
Alex Song may not stay at West Ham
Song is currently on loan at West Ham and unlikely to return to Spain when the short-term deal comes to an end at the end of the season.
West Ham are thought to harbour major doubts over whether to try and make Song's deal permanent at the end of the season.
But the Cameroonian international is keen to remain in England, and preferably play in the Champions League.

Alex Song wants to stay in London
Liverpool and Manchester City would both be happy to oblige in that regard, assuming they qualify for the competition next term.
But Song is also known to be keen on staying in London if at all possible.
That leaves Chelsea as the only destination that meets all his criteria, given Arsenal have shown no desire to take him back to the Emirates.
And while the Blues are not desperate to land Song, Mourinho is intrigued by a cut-price deal for the player as back-up for Nemanja Matic, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.
