The 17-year-old was called in to make up the numbers during Roy Hodgson's training session ahead of Lithuania on Friday.
Solanke, alongside Wayne Rooney who was England's player of the year, picked up his award from Hodgson.
The England under-18 star, who made his Chelsea debut last October in the Champions League, has been tipped for a big future.

And Hodgson lost Daniel Sturridge to injury yesterday and was without James Milner, Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka and Fabian Delph today.
But he did have Harry Kane to run the rule over.
And the England boss even dropped a hint that Kane may start up top with Rooney on Friday.
The Tottenham striker has scored 19 league goals this term - joint with Chelsea's Diego Costa - and Hodgson had his name circled next to Rooney's on his notes today.
