The 19-year-old Pereira, who joined United from PSV Eindhoven in 2011, is currently in talks with a return to the Dutch giants.
The Red Devils are trying to convince his represenatives to sign a new deal, but his father Marcos claims he wants to play regular football.
He said: "It is true that we talk to PSV.
"PSV have contacted our representatives. The intention is that they will soon go to the table with PSV.

He added: "The situation is such that the contract of Andreas with Manchester United after the season ending.
"Our business representatives are in talks with the club over a new contract, but Andreas ready to play and looking for playing time.
