Worse than Chelsea's Diego Costa? Rangers' Lee McCulloch escapes red for stamp
RANGERS defender Lee McCulloch can count himself lucky for not being sent off after appearing to stamp on an opponent during his side's defeat at Raith Rovers today.
Lee McCulloch's Rangers lost 2-1 to Raith Rovers today
McCulloch left a boot in on Rovers striker Dale Carrick late the in the first half and was duly booked for the incident.
However, replays suggest he was lucky not to see red as Raith ran out 2-1 victors.
Chelsea fans will no doubt look on the stamp with frustration after seeing their own player, Diego Costa, retrospectively banned for three games for stamping on Liverpool's Emre Can in the League Cup.
McCulloch is unlikely to receive and post-match punishment because the incident was dealt with by the referee at the time.
Fans on Twitter were not impressed…
