The defender joined United in a £16m deal in the summer and faces a tough challenge this afternoon (4:15pm) as they travel to Upton Park to face West Ham, whom they have had mixed fortunes against over the years.
Chelsea continued their seemingly inexorable run towards the title with a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa yesterday, while Manchester City are seven points behind them after being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Hull.
But Rojo is refusing to give up on the title.
"I thought Chelsea were far ahead of us in the table, but everyone at United says we can catch them," he said.
"We will not give up hope. We'll first aim to overtake Manchester City, and it is a good challenge for us.
