Liverpool? Spurs? Man Utd? Arsenal? The possible clubs for ambitious Saido Berahino
SAIDO BERAHINO has revealed his intention to leave West Brom for "bigger things" - but where could the England hotshot end up?
Saido Berahino Player Profile
Berahino has suggested he is ready to move on from the Hawthorns at the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has scored 14 goals so far this campaign, earned an England call-up and courted interest from Liverpool and Tottenham.
But West Brom kept Berahino in the January transfer window amid claims top clubs were concerned about his temperament.
So where could he move? And which club would suit him best?
Here Express Sport takes a look at Berahino's possible destinations.
Where could Saido Berahino end up plying his trade?
LIVERPOOL
With Mario Balotelli misfiring and injury questions over Daniel Sturridge, Brendan Rodgers is still searching for an answer to his striking problems. The prospect of matching Berahino's pace with that of Raheem Sterling is a mouth-watering one.
TOTTENHAM
Harry Kane is the undoubted star at White Hart Lane these days and he would no doubt be delighted to link up with his fellow former England Under-21 star. Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino could truly covet a strike-force for the future.
ARSENAL
If any top boss can bring the best out of a fledgling talent it is surely Arsene Wenger. With the Gunners battling to make up ground on Chelsea and Manchester City, it would be no surprise if they were back in the running for Berahino in the summer.
Berahino is keen to seal a move to a 'bigger club'
MANCHESTER UNITED
Louis van Gaal is well-stocked for strikers now, but it looks increasingly likely that Radamel Falcao won't be sticking around past this season. Throw in question marks over Robin van Persie's long-term future and Wayne Rooney dropping into midfield and the path for Berahino to Old Trafford could open up.
EVERTON
Berahino is plainly a player whom Roberto Martinez admires and would find a way to get the best from at Goodison Park. But Everton's relatively lowly position - and prospects - in the Premier League this season could count against them.
SOUTHAMPTON
On the face of it the attack-minded, high-flying Saints represent an eminently sensible next step for Berahino. But with his head turned by so many giants, any Berahino move to St Mary's appears unlikely.
