Brazil star Everton Ribeiro confirms Man Utd FAILED in January bid for his services
BRAZILIAN star Everton Ribeiro has confirmed that Manchester United were among the clubs vying for his signature before he moved to the United Arab Emirates on Monday.

And whilst it now seems that Liverpool failed to formalise their interest, the player has confirmed that United did make a bid to sign him,
The 25-year-old ended up moving to the Arabian Gulf League on deadline day after Al Ahli agreed to pay Cruzeiro's £7m asking price.

And it seems that United were unwilling to match that asking price to bring the Brazilian international to the Premier League.

"But none of those offers convinced Cruzeiro and they didn't let me go."
