LOUIS VAN GAAL has effectively made the Premier League title a two-horse race after claiming the FA Cup is Man Utd's best chance of claiming silverware.

And Van Gaal believes his only chance of picking up a title this season is in the FA Cup, having beaten Cambridge 3-0 tonight with Preston up next in the fifth round.
The Red Devils have not lifted the trophy since 2004 but with City and Chelsea both eliminated, they will assume the label of favourites alongside fellow 11-time winners Arsenal.

"It's another title and that I like," the Dutchman said.
"I want to win always a title in a season.
"I think that is our greatest chance to win a title... not only for me but more for Manchester United, the fans and the players.
"Because for 11 years they don't have the title in the FA Cup."
