Liverpool HAVEN'T given up hope of signing Danny Ings from Burnley
LIVERPOOL remain in negotiations with Burnley to sign Danny Ings in an attempt to avoid the need to go to a transfer tribunal in the summer.
Danny Ings is a target for Liverpool
Ings, 22, would stay at Turf Moor for the remainder of the season if an agreement can be reached.
Burnley will be due compensation for Ings, who is keen to move to Anfield, when his contract expires at the end of the campaign of upwards of £3m.
David Moyes' Real Sociedad remain in the chase for Ings. They would only have to pay £300,000 compensation and have offered him a £60,000-a-week deal.
