Jose Mourinho: My players were crying so much in the dressing room I had to make a change
JOSE MOURINHO has revealed Chelsea's busy Christmas fixture list has left his players in tears!
Jose Mourinho had to change his training plans at Chelsea
Chelsea beat West Ham 2-0 at Stamford Bridge yesterday thanks to goals from John Terry and Diego Costa.
But the Blues are back in action just over 48 hours after their Boxing Day win with a trip to Southampton tomorrow (2:05pm).
And instead of training twice today, Mourinho decided to hold a post-match session immediately after the Hammers win.
Some had a recovery session, others a more strenuous workout.
"They were crying so much in the dressing room I decided to make a change," Mourinho said.
The Chelsea boss was full of praise for captain Terry, who opened the scoring on the half-hour mark.
"He always had that (goalscoring ability)," he added.
"He's full of confidence. I see my John of 2004, 05, 06.
"I only see a difference when I see his twin (daughters) when they go to the training ground because they were born in that period and now they are running and kicking balls."
