Mourinho to Barcelona? Chelsea ALREADY play like Spanish giants, claims Cesc Fabregas
CESC FABREGAS believes Jose Mourinho has Chelsea playing like Barcelona.
Jose Mourinho has been linked with a return to Barcelona
The Portuguese boss has been linked with a surprise return to the club where he emerged as a translator should Joan Laporta win presidential elections.
And while some say that Mourinho's approach to football clashes with the tiki-taka style of the Catalan club, Fabregas believes nothing could be further from the truth.
He told Radio Marca: "Mourinho to Barca? I would say that Barca has a style that he has already experienced and understands perfectly.
"We play a very similar game: we want to be in control, have possession and we try to score.
"We may have a different system, but the philosophy is the same."

And Fabregas says he is relishing playing in his preferred position again at Stamford Bridge.
He said: "I feel that I control the game better now.
"I touch the ball all the time and I feel happy.
"Sometimes the last three or four years with the national team and Barcelona, I played almost as a number nine and I had to do it for the team, but where I play right now, this is where I take the most pleasure.
"Right now, I feel like I'm playing the best football of my career."
