NEWCASTLE secured their fifth successive Premier League win courtesy of Moussa Sissoko's second-half strike as the Magpies continue to soar up the table.
Sissoko's strike was enough for the Alan Pardew's side, who were lying bottom of the Premier League back in September.
The France international's goal came late in the second half after collecting Sammy Ameobi's pass and driving it into the back of the net.
However, Newcastle's day turned bitter as Ryan Taylor, who made his first league start in 32 months, was forced off with a knee injury after 34 minutes.
