Chelsea v West Brom - Premier League Preview
The sensational reports claim that United need to generate funds in order to sign one of the Los Blancos pair, and believe Paris Saint-Germain would be more than willing.
Chelsea could yet be dragged into the speculation should the West London side fail to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus.
Di Maria played under Jose Mourinho at the Bernabeu, and once described himself as one of the Portuguese manager's disciples.
Adrien Rabiot could be used in a swap deal with Roma
Chelsea have suffered a double transfer blow after reports of an unprecedented swap deal between Paris Saint-Germain and Roma.
Le 10 Sport exclusively revealed that PSG are evaluating the possibility of exchanging the highly sought-after Adrien Rabiot for Roma's playmaker Miralem Pjanic.
Chelsea were known to be monitoring Rabiot's contract negotiations, but were ruled-out when the starlet signed a new five-year deal in Paris.
Claims that Rabiot is back on the market will have briefly interested Chelsea chiefs, but an impending move to Roma will once again rule a switch out.
Bruma can be bought for as little as £8m
Chelsea have been urged to act fast if they are serious about signing Portuguese starlet Bruma.
His agent Marco Kirdemir revealed he's received multiple offers for his client, but money will have to be paid up-front and not in instalments.
He said: “We have received an offer from Genoa and a couple more sides in Europe. Galatasaray have not accepted any of these bids.
“If a club wants to sign Bruma they will have to pay the money up front, not in instalments.”
