Swansea 2 - Leicester 0: Bony at double as Swans leapfrog Liverpool and Man Utd
WILFRIED BONY netted a double as Swansea bounced back from their disappointment against Stoke last weekend to leapfrog Liverpool and Manchester United in the Premier League.
Bony was a handful and he gave Garry Monk's side the lead in the 34th minute when he swept Gylfi Sigurdsson's pass past Kasper Schmeichel.
The opening goal provided an excellent platform for Swansea and they doubled their lead in the 57th minute.
It was Bony again as he put the finishing touches to a Jefferson Montero cross.
Swansea are now into the top six after Liverpool were held at home while Manchester United face Chelsea tomorrow (4pm).
They are now just two points off the top four and face Liverpool in the Capital One Cup, with their next Premier League assignment being away to Everton.
