Sami Khedira DROPS wage demands in bid to push through Arsenal move
SAMI KHEDIRA has lowered his wage expectations in order to engineer a move to Arsenal.
The Real Madrid ace has been continually linked with a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea also vying for his signature.
The 27-year-old appears to have fallen out of favour at the Bernabeu, and recent reports suggested the Gunners had made him a lucrative contract offer of £100,000 a week in order to lure him to the Emirates.
Premier League suitors had been told by Real boss Carlo Ancelotti that they will have to wait until the summer to make their moves for Khedira, as he said: "We have until June to reach an agreement with him.

If he wants to sign an extension, the club will renew him. If not, he will leave the team
“If he wants to sign an extension, the club will renew him. If not, he will leave the team at the end of the season.”
But fresh reports surfacing on the continent indicate that Khedira is prepared to accept a pay cut and has dropped his wage demands to £80,000-a-week to force through a move to north London.
It is thought Khedira's agent has been in talks over a deal but has yet to finalise a fee.
