Former Arsenal star BLASTS Arsene Wenger in astonishing Twitter tirade
FORMER Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has hit out in an astonishing tirade at Arsene Wenger.
Frimpong was still contracted to Arsenal last year, but left to join Barnsley in January.
He has since joined Russian Premier League side FC Ufa, but evidently still keeps an eye on his old club.
And as the Gunners' toiled to a 2-1 Champions League win over Anderlecht on Arsene Wenger's 65th birthday last night, Frimpong blasted the Frenchman's transfer policy on Twitter.
The 22-year-old claims Arsenal need to sign a central defender, a defensive midfielder and a striker.
Said it and will say it again we need a F****** centre back with Laurent a bloody DMF and a bloody striker

He also reckons there are too many similar players at the Emirates and suggested Wenger should have strengthened his defence over signing £30million man Alexis Sanchez.
"Said it and will say it again we need a F****** centre back with Laurent [Koscielny], a bloody DMF and a bloody striker," he wrote.
"And before u start going down on me it's bloody true all our players are so similar Jack [Wilshere], [Aaron] Ramsey, [Mikel] Arteta, [Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain] Chambo, Sanchez, [Mesut] Ozil all too similar.
"FFS Sanchez has had a good season but no disrespect would have been better using that to buy a centre back and a DMF bloody sick of it man."

Frimpong did finish his rant on a positive note, after Lukas Podolski's winner secured three points for the visitors in Belgium.
"That's it man like Poldi DENCH FFS," he added.
