Liverpool were 'fortunate' to beat QPR - Brendan Rodgers
BRENDAN RODGERS believes Liverpool did not deserve their 3-2 win over QPR that witnessed three goals in stoppage time.
Liverpool rode their luck to scrape past QPR thanks to two own goals, the last a Steven Caulker conversion at the death.
Richard Dunne's earlier own goal was cancelled out by Eduardo Vargas, before Philippe Coutinho restored Liverpool's lead.
But a Vargas header before Caulker's mistake ensured a dramatic finish in west London and the Reds boss insisted Liverpool were fortunate to win.

We were lucky to get the win, but we showed tremendous character
"QPR certainly did not deserve to lose. We were lucky to get the win, but we showed tremendous character," Rodgers told Sky Sports.
"We were a bit better in the second half but QPR definitely deserved something from the game.
"In the first half we had no rhythm, we did not pass the ball, there was no speed in the game, but Joe Allen and Philippe Coutinho coming on gave us a technical lift and we started to create more.
"Raheem Sterling was outstanding in his running and in his desire. Overall, we were fortunate."
