Liverpool fans take to social media to SLAM misfiring Mario Balotelli after QPR miss
LIVERPOOL fans have taken to Twitter to slam the performance of misfiring striker Mario Balotelli.
The Italian international cost £16m when he signed from AC Milan at the end of the summer transfer window but has failed to find form for his new club.
And after another lacklustre performance against QPR, including somehow contriving to miss an open goal when it would have been easier to score, Reds fans turned on the enigmatic Balotelli on social media.
See a sample of some of the abuse, including from golfer Lee Westwood and former England cricketer Michael Vaughan below:
You have no sympathy for Balotelli there when he's had the attitude of a spoilt kid for most of the game.

Liverpool must be delighted it went in off the defender... No question Mario would have missed the open goal... #Fact

Oh, goodness me. How in the world did Mario Balotelli miss THAT?

Mario Balotelli is a poor mans Carlton Cole.

Balotelli for 16m makes Welbeck for 16m seem like an absolute bargain at the moment.
