There's more to Poland than Lewandowski! Gordon Strachan wary of Euro 2016 rivals
GORDON STRACHAN reckons Poland’s shock Euro 2016 win over Germany shows Scotland have a lot more to worry about than just Robert Lewandowski.
Strachan, below, takes his team to Warsaw looking to build on their weekend win over Georgia at Ibrox and is well aware the Bayern Munich striker will be a major threat on Wednesday evening.
Scotland now need to take something to keep in touch with the 100 percent records of Republic of Ireland and the Poles – who stunned the world champions by dumping them 2-0 on Saturday night.
When asked if there was more to Poland than just Lewandowski, he insisted: “Oh yes, absolutely. Mark [McGhee] was saying that everyone asked him about 15 questions (in the press conference) on Lewandowski and then someone said 'are you thinking too much about Lewandowski?'”
Scotland can go into the game with confidence as they beat Poland in a friendly earlier this year.
