Allan McGregor misses Euro 2016 qualifiers
ALLAN McGREGOR will miss Scotland’s forthcoming Euro 2016 double header due to a shoulder problem.
The 32-year-old, right, has been managing the injury since the start of the season, but has now been told he needs a period of complete rest and will be out for up to six weeks.
Hull City boss Steve Bruce said: “The specialist has said he needs to rest and stop diving on it. We need to take him out and make sure he recovers.
“Hopefully in four to six weeks he’ll be back to normal. We’re just delighted he doesn’t need an operation.”
Scotland boss Gordon Strachan has David Marshall and Craig Gordon left in his squad but has yet to name a replacement back-up.
