I hope Chelsea players are knackered! Neil Warnock's take on club v country row
CRYSTAL PALACE boss Neil Warnock has had his say on the club versus country row, and joked that the Chelsea stars come back knackered after the international break.
The Eagles take on Jose Mourinho's Blues when the Premier League resumes on 18 October.
Diego Costa has been the latest player to become embroiled in the club versus country row, with Mourinho desperate for him not to be called up to the Spain squad.
Costa insists he is fine, although a hamstring injury at the moment prevents him from playing three times a week.
Speaking about the Chelsea situation, Warnock said: "I hope the Chelsea players go everywhere in the next fortnight!"

When asked more widely about the contentious issue, Warnock said: "I think there is a good relationship between club managers and international coaches.
"Clearly losing Sturridge to injury meant the Liverpool medical staff couldn't deal with it internally.
"It is slightly different when you have quick forwards in your side.
"The explosion in their legs is incredible and when they are on international duty, you are bound to think the worse."
