Manchester United told to stump up £60million for Kevin Strootman
MANCHESTER UNITED have been informed they will have to break their club transfer record should they wish to land Kevin Strootman.
The Dutchman was on United's radar in January, but instead plumped for his compatriot Daley Blind.
The Red Devils lavished over £150million in the summer, with Angel Di Maria setting them back £60million.
Reports suggest Strootman wants to move to Old Trafford and is prepared to ditch his agent to link up with Robin van Persie's adviser in order to make it happen.

He has apparently instructed Kes Vos to broker his move to United.
Originally it was thought that Strootman would set United back £25m.
Despite Strootman's injury history, United would have to break the bank for him.
