Felix Magath believes everyone benefits from Kostas Mitroglou's loan move to Olympiakos[GETTY]
Mitroglou’s red-hot form for Olympiakos convinced the Cottagers to hand over £12.4m in the January transfer window for his services but the move spectacularly backfired.
He struggled for fitness and featured just three times as Fulham lost their battle for survival in the Premier League.
26-year-old Mitroglou looked bereft of form at the World Cup and has been sent out on loan to his former club by Magath, who has dramatically rebuilt his squad for a Championship promotion push.

He wanted to leave and I think it’s best for our club, it’s the best for him and it’s the best for his new club
Felix Magath
The Cottagers boss thinks the deal is good for his club, the player and Olympiakos.
He said: “I’m happy with that as he wanted to leave and I think it’s best for our club, it’s the best for him and it’s the best for his new club. Now he can start from beginning.
“He is a player for the highest level, he was very good in the Champions League before he came to Fulham and he has a chance to make it and after a year he can come back and hopefully to the Premier League.”
