Jose confirms Petr Cech and Thibaut Courtois are very unlikely to leave Chelsea this year
JOSE MOURINHO is confident that world class goalkeeping duo Petr Cech and Thibaut Courtois will remain at Stamford Bridge this summer.
Reports over Petr Cech’s impending exit have gathered momentum in recent weeks, with many media outlets suggesting the Czech international will be used as bait for Real Madrid star Raphael Varane.
However Mourinho has made it clear that he and Chelsea want the pair to remain and are very lucky to have them.
He said: “we have two of the best three keepers around the world - it is unique.
It is a great problem, because they are both fantastic goalkeepers to have
“It is a great problem, because they are both fantastic goalkeepers to have.
"Petr and Courtois is a good problem and a problem every manager from every club would love to have.”
When asked over the possibility of Cech leaving the West London side, Mourinho retorted: “At this moment I don’t want to think about it.
“There is no offer or possibility. It’s not good to analyse something that is not on the table."
