Pochettino confirms USA star DeAndre Yedlin will begin training with Spurs next season
MAURICIO POCHETTINO remained quiet over the signing of American right-back DeAndre Yedlin, but confirmed the youngster would remain with his domestic side for a further season.
The club announced the signing of Yedlin last evening from MLS side Seattle Sounders on a four-year deal, for a fee thought to be in the region of £2.5m - a terrific piece of business considering the starlets age.
Tottenham have had prior dealings with the American outfit having sold the lacklustre Clint Dempsey for £5.4m in August of last year.
Yedlin was perhaps one of the World Cup’s surprise packages.

The 21-year-old will spend one more season with the American side before launching a serious challenge on current Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker.
Many Spurs fans are dissatisfied with Walker’s defensive abilities, but the introduction of serious competition could see the England international raise his game in the forthcoming season.
