It will be a tough season for us! Pochettino coy over Spurs' Champions League chances
MAURICIO POCHETTINO was coy over Tottenham’s chances of challenging Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton to secure a top four Premier League finish this season.
The methodical Argentine refused to be drawn in on positional targets for the season, and said that a successful season would constitute developing the club’s philosophy.
“Our challenge is to put in place our philosophy and our system.
“We know we need time to improve on our new system, and philosophies but we are very happy and have improved quickly.”

We expect a tough season for us
Pochettino’s sentiments confirm to Spurs supporters that this will be a season of transition for the North London side.
The former Saints boss admitted his responses may be considered ‘boring’ but reiterated that adopting his philosophy is the most crucial target.
“It’s possible my speech is boring but it is true.
“We all need to believe in our mind, all of us that this [philosophy] is the key to be a success.
“We have put into practice a new philosophy and new style and its true that the players need time to improve, believe and learn.
“We expect a tough season for us.”
