CONFIRMED: Spurs sign defender DeAndre Yedlin from Seattle Sounders
TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR have confirmed the signing of right-back DeAndre Yedlin from Seattle Sounders on a four-year deal.
He will remain with the Seattle Sounders this season before joining Spurs ahead of the 2015/16 season.
Yedlin, who has been caped seven times by USA, said: "It’s a great team with a new coach and a style that suits the way I play. That’s a big reason I made the decision.
"The facilities are the best in Europe, if not the world. It’s a great team. I’m very excited
"I’ve talked to Jürgen Klinsmann a lot about this move and he supports it, which was one of the big reasons behind the decision."
The 21-year-old, who made 52 appearances for the Sounders and made it into the MLS All-Star Team in his first season last year, has joined Spurs for a fee rumoured to be around £2.5m.
