Arsenal on alert for £16m Nastasic after City snap up Mangala
ARSENE WENGER could be set to swoop for Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic.
City today completed the protracted signing of Eliaquim Mangala from Porto, for a fee in the region of £32million.
And Mangala's arrival looks to signal the end for Nastasic's career at the Etihad.
Arsenal are reportedly interested in Nastasic, who is available for around £16m.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants a centre-back to replace Thomas Vermaelen, who joined Barcelona for £15m at the weekend.

"Vermaelen behaved outstandingly last year - I am grateful for him and I wish him very well," Wenger said.
"If I can find another centre-back, I will do it."
Arsenal have also been linked with Liverpool's Daniel Agger and Olympiakos' Kostas Manolas.
But for the time being Wenger could place his faith in summer signing Calum Chambers, who started at the back during the 3-0 Community Shield win over Manchester City yesterday.
