CONFIRMED: Spurs sign Ben Davies and Michel Vorm as Gylfi Sigurdsson returns to Swansea
TOTTENHAM have announced the signing of Swansea duo Ben Davies and Michel Vorm in a part-exchange deal that sees Gylfi Sigurdsson return to the Liberty.
Davies has signed a five-year deal, and will almost certainly be first choice left-back ahead of the unconvincing Danny Rose.
But 30-year-old Vorm faces a stiffer challenge, having to overcome Hugo Lloris who was awarded a new deal just 13 days ago.
The pair constitute Mauricio Pochettino's first signings since his White Hart Lane arrival earlier this summer - and with reports of a £25m bid for French star Antoine Griezmann - they may not be the last.

The Dutch keeper has penned a four-year contract with the North London side in a deal that has raised eyebrows in the football community.
Although Swansea have lost two of their prized assets, they have seen former Icelandic loanee Sigurdsson return.
The midfielder has been included as part of a complicated exchange deal that will involve, the 24-year-old, a cash sum and a sell on fee for the youngster Davies.

The former Reading man spent a season with Swansea, netting seven times in just 18 league games - a record that caught the attention of Tottenham who signed him for £8.8m.
But just two-seasons later, Sigurdsson has returned to Wales and is delighted with the move, he said: "It’s fantastic for me. I really enjoyed the last time I was here, so it’s good to be back.
“I was here for four months and I have a lot of good memories. Hopefully this time it will be even better."
