CONFIRMED: Patrice Evra leaves Man Utd to join Juventus
MANCHESTER UNITED have confirmed that veteran full-back Patrice Evra has left the club to join Juventus.
The France international has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford since the end of last season, despite signing a new one-year deal in May.
He has agreed to a two-year contract with the Serie A champions after ending his eight-and-a-half year stint at United.
A Juventus statement read: "Juventus football club can today announce that Patrice Evra has signed a two-year contract with the club after a fee of £1.2million, to be paid in two separate instalments, was agreed with Manchester United.

"A further payment of £300,000 will be made to Manchester United in the event of Juventus qualifying for the 2015/16 Champions League."
United signed Luke Shaw from Southampton earlier this summer in a £30m deal, which was expected to leave Evra playing second fiddle at left-back.
The Red Devils have also secured the services of midfielder Ander Herrera from Athletic Bilbao, in a deal believed to be worth £29m.
