You're LIVE Harry! Redknapp reveals QPR and Cardiff have agreed a fee for Steven Caulker
QPR boss Harry Redknapp confirmed live on-air that a fee has been agreed for the sale of Cardiff captain Steven Caulker.
In an interview with Sky Sports News, the 67-year-old let slip that QPR representatives have thrashed out a deal for Caulker.
A deal thought to be in the region of £10m - £2m more than Cardiff paid for him.
The former Tottenham man joined Cardiff for a club record fee of £8m last summer.
But just 11 months later - Caulker could be making his way back to London to join Redknapp's newly promoted side.
The 22-year-old was brought to Wales by former Bluebirds boss Malky Mackay - but given the Scotsman's acrimonious exit, Caulker could be tempted to rejoin a Premier League side.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed the deal but insisted he wants Caulker to stay.
He said: "It's up to Steven if he goes.
"Of course the lure of the Premier League might be too much for us to hope he might stay here. He has to make that decision."
Redknapp's comments came just minutes after the official confirmation that former Manchester United captain Rio Ferdinand has joined QPR on a one-year deal.
