Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal lurk as confusion reigns over Cuadrado's Fiorentina future
LIVERPOOL, Man Utd and Arsenal will have to be patient in their pursuit of Colombia star Juan Cuadrado after the winger vowed to bide his time over his Fiorentina future.
The 26-year-old's sharp rise to prominence can largely be attributed to his spectacular displays during Colombia's World Cup campaign.
Cuadrado has dazzled the world with his fast footwork, surging runs forward and incisive play - capped off by netting the opener in Colombia's 4-1 drubbing of Japan.
The winger has only been overshadowed by the unparalleled performances of wonder boy James Rodriguez, who many agree to be the player of the tournament.
But unlike many before him, Cuadrado will resist the urge to make an impulsive decision over his future, he said: "I'm content and calm.
I'm speaking with my agent and I'm in no rush to decide my future
"I'm speaking with my agent and I'm in no rush to decide my future."
Despite openly discussing a possible move away from his Serie A side, not all parties are in agreement that he will be allowed to leave.
Cuadrado's comments come just days after Fiorentina's sporting director Daniele Prade played down claims of the player heading for the Stadio Artemio Franchi exit.
Prade said: "Cuadrado is a very strong player… We will do all that we can to convince him to remain.
"We have not received any official offers for him."
The Premier League trio are believed to be monitoring the dynamic star's situation, and will fight Barcelona for Cuadrado's signature should he choose to flee Italy.
