Liverpool stake interest in USA and MLS star DeAndre Yedlin
LIVERPOOL could step up their interest in Seattle Sounders star DeAndre Yedlin in the summer.
The Reds have already made three summer signings thus far - Emre Can, Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana.
But it seems that Brendan Rodgers hasn't finished as he seeks to build a squad capable of handling the dual demands of Premier League and Champions League football.
Reports suggest that Liverpool scouts are aware of Yedlin's abilities and have been tracking him since the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey.
It is thought that the Reds could invite him to take part in a trial in the summer.
This would be with a view to landing him on a permanent deal later in the window.
Yedlin is quite versatile and can operate as a right-back, left-back or winger which would give Liverpool options.
