Wish Arsenal signed Cesc! Thierry Henry takes swipe at Wenger after Fabregas joins Chelsea
ARSENAL legend Thierry Henry has aimed a dig at the Gunners for passing up their 'first-option' deal on Cesc Fabregas before he swapped Barcelona for Chelsea.
The Spanish playmaker completed a £30million to the Blues earlier today, signing a five-year-deal to move to Stamford Bridge.
Fabregas, 27, revealed in the process that Arsenal declined to make a bid for him before he signed for Jose Mourinho's men, enraging scores of Gunners fans.

Congrats Cescky. Shame it wasn't the red part of North London but I wish you the best
Arsene Wenger reportedly passed on the former Emirates favourite after deciding to put his faith in current stars Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere, allowing rival Jose Mourinho to pounce for the Spain international.
However Henry, who currently plays for MLS outfit New York Red Bulls, could not resist expressing his disappointment at the missed opportunity in a tweet congratulating Fabregas on his move to west London.
He tweeted: "Congrats Cescky. Shame it wasn't the red part of North London but I wish you the best."
