Man Utd and Chelsea target Luke Shaw bids emotional farewell to Mauricio Pochettino
MANCHESTER UNITED and Chelsea target Luke Shaw has bid an emotional farewell to Mauricio Pochettino after the Argentine left Southampton to become the new Tottenham boss.
Pochettino signed a five-year deal at White Hart Lane this evening and Shaw took to social media to thank his former boss for all he has done for his career.
Shaw burst onto the scene at St Mary's under Pochettino and forced his way into Roy Hodgson's England squad for the World Cup.
And the defender paid tribute to Pochettino for aiding his rise to the top.
He said: "Would like to thank Mauricio For everything he has done for me.
"Great manager, great guy and has helped me a lot. Wish him all the best."

Would like to thank Mauricio For everything he has done for me.
Pochettino could be the first of many departures at Southampton this summer with Shaw likely to quickly follow his former mentor out the door.
Manchester United were thought to be closing in on a £27m deal for the defender but Chelsea have launched a late bid to hijack that move.
Meanwhile, Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren remain targets for Liverpool and Arsenal want Morgan Schneiderlin, Calum Chambers and Nathaniel Clyne.
Having lost Pochettino it now remains to be seen whether the Saints are any more successful in holding onto their star players as they now begin the search for the man to take the club into their next phase.
