George Boyd banned for THREE games for SPITTING at Joe Hart
HULL striker George Boyd has been handed a three-match ban after being found guilty of spitting at Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Boyd and Hart clashed during City's 2-0 win at the KC Stadium on Saturday.
And the FA have moved to punish Boyd with a three-match suspension over the incident, where Boys appeared to spit at Hart.
The former Peterborough star will now miss Hull's Premier League games against West Brom, West Ham and Stoke.
Boyd saw his appeal against the charge of spitting rejected by the FA, with the clash not spotted by officials during the game.
An FA statement confirmed: "Hull City's George Boyd will serve a three-match suspension with immediate effect after an FA charge for spitting was found proven."
